Bite Beauty Lip Lab

This past weekend my cousin and I pop into New York City to check out the Bite Beauty Lip Lab (a must do if your in the area 174 Prince Street, at Thompson Street). The Lab allows you to customize your own shade of lipstick. After you spend some time going over what color your trying to achieve, the lipstick making process from start to finish takes about 7 minutes! My favorite part you get to add a scent, I went with an everyday pink and a cherry scent!
consultation with the make up artist

after being heated up into liquids, lipsticks are put on ice

after 5 minutes there done!

and just like that, our custom colors!

Margarita Ice Pops!

Cinco De Mayo is this Sunday and what better way to celebrate then Margarita Ice Pops! For my DIY projects, I like to use what I have in my house, before running to the store. For this, I used tall shot glasses (as my ice pop holders), margarita mix {regular and  mango}, tequila, and wooden sticks from my craft box. These were so easy and refreshing. I mixed together the margarita mix and eye balled the tequila (I tend to have a heavy hand, hey it was the weekend!) I let them set in the freeze for about an hour, once they started to harden then I added the popsicle stick, let them set overnight to completely freeze. Once there frozen, you’ll be able to wiggle them out of the glass, and serve! There is also a recipe here .

Bench

On Friday night I joined Bullet Magazine for their Spring Future Issue Event in Tribeca. With over 400 guests in attendance at the Temp Art Space the complimentary booze was following along with electric DJ sets. Artists included Elle Dee, Laroic, Devonte Hyenes, and a live performance by Cable. To top it off there was photo booth fun and flipping through the pages of the magazine that feature James Franco, and Kirsten Dunst.

A big shout out to my friends at
Bench for the invite!
